Topic: Know Your Why - Restructuring Your Career in a Changing Market

Welcome
Welcome - thank you for subscribing and joining my recent webinar.
If you were there, you already know that I approach job search strategy a little differently.
And if you just registered but didn't attend, this is exactly what you can expect from me.
After 13+ years in Talent Acquisition, partnering with leadership teams and making hiring decisions that shape careers, I’ve seen firsthand what actually happens behind the scenes.
But more recently, I experienced something I hadn’t in over a decade.
I found myself back on the job market.
Not as a recruiter.
But as a job seeker.
The Question That Changed Everything
As I was navigating this myself, one question kept coming up:
How do you navigate a job market that is evolving this quickly, and actually position yourself to stand out?
Because right now, the narrative is loud:
AI is changing everything.
Roles are shifting.
The market feels uncertain.
But here’s what I realized very quickly:
Companies are still figuring AI out themselves.
The market is shifting, but it always has.
The difference now is the speed.
Which brings us back to the real question:
What are you doing about it?
The Shift: Know Your Why
In the middle of that transition, I kept coming back to one thing:
What is my why?
Not in a vague way, but in a practical one:
- What do I actually want next?
- Where do I create the most value?
- What environments do I thrive in?
That clarity changed everything.
It’s also where my message came from:
Your Career Is in Your Hands.
Because once you understand your why, your entire approach shifts.
You stop applying everywhere, and start moving with intention.
How This Turned Into Something Bigger
I was invited by NCP to deliver a webinar supporting job seekers with resumes, LinkedIn, and overall job search strategy, through the lens of AI.
That’s how Job Search Guide Using AI was created.
And the response made one thing very clear:
People don’t just want advice.
They want to know how to actually apply it.
What Most Job Seekers Are Missing
There’s a real gap right now.
Talented, capable professionals are struggling, not because they lack experience, but because:
They haven’t been shown how to position themselves in a way the market now expects.
That’s the difference.
Not more applications.
Not more effort.
Better positioning.
What I’ve Built
Everything I’ve created comes directly from that realization.
From real questions. Real challenges. Real conversations.
I officially launched my website:
www.danijelavekic.com
And built two ways to support job seekers:
Career Coaching 1:1
For those who want personalized, focused support to move faster, gain clarity, and position themselves effectively.
Career Accelerator Program (4 Weeks)
A structured, step-by-step program designed to help you stand out, reposition yourself strategically, and approach your job search with confidence and direction.
The first cohort begins on April 14 and is designed for job seekers who feel stuck, are navigating a transition, or are not seeing results despite consistent effort.
My Why
This work is personal now in a different way.
I bring over a decade of Talent Acquisition experience, but I also understand what it feels like to navigate a shifting market yourself.
My why is simple:
To help talented people stop second-guessing themselves and start positioning themselves in a way the market rewards.
Because in this market, success doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from doing things differently.
If You’re Feeling This Right Now
If you’ve been feeling unsure, stuck, or questioning your next move:
You are not behind.
You’re being asked to adapt.
And with the right strategy, that’s something you can absolutely do.
